Welcome to my homeschooling journal
The Pilgrims worshipped God, at least they tried to. They were being hunted really by betrayers in the government. At first they were living in England, but they left England to move to Holland. In Holland they could worship God the way they wanted to. The King of England, James the 1st, was a bad man. He hung some of the Pilgrims and using that rope that would tighter each millisecond. So their bodies would drop and their neck would snap, or they would just suffocate.
The Pilgrims left England and went to Holland. But the children had to work and once child died from his job. He was a 7 year old kid. He was carrying something and the weight of the two things and pushed his body down. Children of the Pilgrims had to work so they could have money for food. That way they wouldn't be useless.
The parents of the children, the Pilgrim parents, got upset that their children were starting to act like children who grew up in Holland. They didn't like this. They were afraid their children wouldn't grow up to worship Jehovah. They did not want their children to become worldly. So they left Holland to go back to England to catch a ride on a ship called the Mayflower.
We started reading The Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder. The characters are Pa, Ma, Mary, Laura, and baby Carrie. Laura is the main character.
Here is what I remember of the first two chapters we have read: I remember Pa chopping up the pork that was frozen, a big chunk. Pa pretended to be a dog and that he pretended to run away and the girls were scared. They saw their eyes were big. Pa shot the bear and a pig because the bear was holding the pig so he got the two. He got two animals to bring them to the shed. But then they got frozen so he had to cut off the pork chunk like I said before.
There are deer, bears, boar-pigs, there might be wild chickens in those Big Woods. They had two pets. They had a cat named Black Susan and a bulldog named Jack. There were wolves in the Big Woods. It's pretty obvious.
Laura saw a dead deer hanging from an oak tree one day. They had fresh venison for dinner. The meat had to have salt put on it and it had to be smoked and packed away for winter.
The winter was coming up. The girls had to play in the house during winter. They played in the living room and the kitchen. They played in their own room. They pretended that pumpkins were tables and chairs.
When the pig got butchered Laura covered her ears, but since it died it couldn't squeal. They made stuff to eat from the pig. They made pork and bacon.
Pa put metal traps in the woods. Those things that chomp you when you step in them. That's what he put down. They showed them in cartoons before. You know those things that would hurt your leg real bad, that's what he put in the woods.
They had to play with dolls that were made out of rags and stuff like corn and cobs. Cob-corn. When Pa greased his traps at night he told the girls stories. Then he would play his fiddle.

I learned how to copy and paste website addresses. And I also updated my own homeschooling website with a little help from mom. But she was right next to me telling me what to do next.
It's 10 o clock so I am going to watch a tv show now before I go to bed.
Mom said we have to do some typing so I am typing this now. We have to use correct punctuation.
Mom said I have to put a link to the website with the ski trip photos even though I didn't ski. I just played video games and went with mom to take pictures. I don't like skiing but mom said I should try next year just in case I change my mind.

I am going to watch cartoonetwork now because we finished watching the Dawn Treader and then we are going to watch The Silver Chair tonight. We finished reading The Silver Chair last night. My favorite part of the Silver Chair was when the Prince killed the witch but she was a serpent at the time.
Today we went to Yonder Farms and mom took pictures in the field. When we went on the drive we saw a Siberian Husky wandering in the field. Then we went to Pizza Hut, Toys R Us and Barnes n Noble. Then I came home and played Nintendo Dogs.
Here are more photos from today:
I got two chocolate chip cookies from Yonder Farms, some lemonade too.
Well, I finally finished it but I don't know how to make the greek or latin
characters to type out, but when I find out I will fix this:
Libra Constellation
Libra is a constellation of the zodiac. It lies in the sky between Virgo to
the west and Scorpius to the east. This constellation looks like scales for
weighing.
The word Libra means “balance” in Latin. The brightest stars in Libra
make a rectangle, with scales and weighing pans: Librae, Zubenelgenubi,
which is the southern claw of the scorpian, and the southern pan of the
scales; Librae, Zubeneschamali, which is the northern claw and the northern
pan of the scales; Librae, Zubenelakrab, which is the scorpian’s claw; and
Librae, which is an eclipsing variable. This star used to be called Scorpii
even though it was in the Libra constellation. Benjamin Gould changed its
name in 1851.
The Libra constellation formed part of Scorpio’s claws. It is the only constell-
ation that isn’t a symbol for a living creature. Libra is the youngest constella-
tion of the zodiac. Later the constellation was said to represent scales. These
scales are held by the goddess of justice, Astraea. Astraea is the constellation
of Virgo.
The astrological sign of Libra is called an Air sign, like Aquarius and Gemini.
It is also one of the cardinal signs like Aries, Cancer and Capricorn. Aries is
Libra’s polar opposite. Every sign of the zodiac represents a body part. It is
said that the lower back and reproductive organs are ruled by Libra. Libra’s
symbol is the Scales.
True Christians do not use astrology to guide them. Astrology
goes back to the ancient Babylonians who worshiped false gods. Astrology
is based on the zodiac and the divine powers people thought the planets had.
They used astrology to try to find out the future.
The Bible teaches us to know what is right and what is wrong. It is wrong to
worship anyone or anything besides Jehovah. Exodus 20:4,5 says that
Jehovah wants “exclusive devotion” from us. Also, we must not worship
any other gods. In Dueteronomy 18:10-12 the Bible says that anyone who
uses astrology is “detestable” to Jehovah. That means Jehovah does not like
it when people use astrology or try to find out the future from a foreteller of
events.
I had to do Christopher Columbus for the timeline and it took me a LONG TIME
Then I had to write an essay about Halloween and here is the one that mom had
me correct after I wrote it. I had to change the beginning paragraph and conclusion
paragraph, but my scripture was correct so here it is:
Why True Christians Do Not Celebrate Halloween
Christians do not celebrate Halloween for many reasons. The beginning
of Halloween celebrations go back to pre-Christian times. The druids
were people who were pagan people. They had never served Jehovah.
Druids were priests of ancient Gaul and Britain. They were also called
Celtic people or the Celts. They worshiped false gods in celebrating
Halloween. They also worshiped the dead, which a true Christian
would never do.
The druids worshiped false gods. The people that did Halloween worshiped
the god of the sun and the god of the dead. His name was Samhain. At
first the festival was held on November 1st. This was the beginning of the
Celtic New Year. Later, the Roman Catholic Church changed the date to
October 31, and called it “All Souls’ Day”.
The druids believed that the souls of the dead roamed the earth and that
bad spirits tricked people. So they used flames, torches, jack o lanterns,
and dressed up as scary people to try to keep away spirits of dead people.
They thought the dead people spirits were coming back to their homes for
stuff to eat. That’s where the trick or treating comes from.
I know that dead people are really dead and can’t move in spirit, because
the bible says so. Ecclesiastes 9:10: “All that your hand finds to do, do
with your very power, for there is no work, nor devising nor knowledge
nor wisdom in Sheol [Hell, or common grave of mankind] where you are
going.” If you celebrate Halloween, it makes God feel like
he’s been insulted. Plus, Halloween is not a safe holiday anymore,
because people’s treats sometimes get bad stuff in them.
I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should really try and learn how to play piano. First you have to use the black keys. Then you learn to play the white keys. When you learn to play a song you will feel good. You'll feel like you're learning inside. When you are learning piano, you need to practice alot.

One of the favorite Pokemon is Castform. He is great because his ability is called Forecast. It means he changes his type depending on the weather: ice when hail is inactive, fire when sunny day is inactive, and water when raindance is inactive. He can also learn the attack weatherball. It also changes its type depending on weather.
